Bar à Vins is the NoDa wine shop that doesn't take itself too seriously. The concept was built around making interesting global wine approachable, with bottles available at retail pricing and a surcharge if you decide to open one at the bar. The selection leans natural and independent, while the food is designed for grazing: caviar, cheese, charcuterie, tinned fish and other salty things that happen to make wine taste very good. It's a particularly good choice for “let's try three weird bottles and see what happens” nights.
