Why go here?
Hop City is the big, browse-and-discover option. It makes the most sense when you're shopping for more than one kind of drink: wine for dinner, interesting beer for the weekend, or something unusual to bring to a gathering. The Lakeview location also doubles as a bar and social hangout, with rotating taps, a patio and frequent food trucks, so you can taste something before deciding what to take home. It's less of a traditional wine boutique and more of a Birmingham craft-beverage destination.
